Specialist Dr. Hakan Bilen
Restorative Dentistry Specialist
Having graduated from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 2014, Spec. Dt. Hakan Bilen passed the specialization exam in 2017 and started working as a research assistant at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dentistry. He successfully completed his specialization program in 2020 and received the title of "Specialist Dentist".
His professional interests are indirect restorations in the posterior region and composite and porcelain laminates in smile design. He has attended courses on anterior laminate restorations, teeth whitening, posterior indirect restorations and implant-supported prostheses.
He has participated in many congresses and seminars and made poster and oral presentations. He received the third place award for the best poster with his poster presentation at ConsEuro 2021.
He serves his patients in all branches of dentistry, with a focus on restorative dental treatment applications.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
Root canal treatment is the process of removing the infected nerves of teeth damaged by advanced decay or trauma and filling the cavity at the root.
TOOTH FILLING
These are treatments applied to restore the function and aesthetics of decayed or broken teeth.
TEETH WHITENING
Teeth whitening is the process of lightening and bleaching the natural tooth color with the help of special agents after removing the discolorations that occur on the teeth due to various reasons. It can be done by the dentist by choosing office type or home type applications.
ZIRCONIUM
In this method, which includes all the desired features such as aesthetic expectation, ensuring naturalness and functional resistance, white zirconium is used instead of metal as the substrate.
TOOTH SENSITIVITY
It is a type of treatment applied to the tooth surface with certain agents in order to eliminate the sensitivity of the teeth to cold and hot factors.
SMILE DESIGN
The secret of a perfect smile is hidden in the harmony of the gums, lips and teeth. Smile design is personalized. For this, there are applications for the gums (pink aesthetics) and teeth (laminate, zirconium, composite veneers, ceramic veneers).
TOOTH EXTRACTION
Tooth extraction is divided into two types: simple extraction and surgical extraction. It is performed painlessly under local anesthesia.
PROSTHESIS APPLICATIONS
The purpose of dental prostheses is to treat loss of function, phonation and aesthetics caused by loss of teeth and/or soft tissues. It covers all treatments from excessive loss of tooth substance to single tooth loss, multiple tooth loss to total loss.
TEETH GRINDING TREATMENTS
Today, many problems such as hypertrophy and hyperactivity of the masticatory muscles, jaw joint disorders, and teeth grinding can be treated.
PINK AESTHETICS
Smile design is the process of treating the gums, teeth, lips and jaw in harmony in order to complete the smile perfectly.
ORTHODONTICS
It is a treatment method that aims to treat disorders in the teeth and jaws and also corrects the aesthetics of the smile. It can be applied with different methods such as fixed brackets or transparent plates.
IMPLANT
They are titanium screws that are placed in place of teeth lost for various reasons. The gap is closed with the crowns placed on them and there is no need to cut the neighboring teeth. It is the treatment method that best imitates natural teeth with current technologies.
GUM TREATMENTS
Gum disease is an inflammatory disease that affects the surrounding tissues of the teeth. Depending on its severity, it can be treated with tartar cleaning and advanced periodontal approaches.
LAMINATE VENEERS
These are aesthetic applications that are frequently applied in smile design processes and cause the least damage to the teeth. They can be made using porcelain or composite.
